Anthony (“Tony”) Rogers has over 30 years in leadership in the financial services industry. A fourth generation Floridian born in New Smyrna Beach Tony’s roots in the state date back to the 1800’s.

Tony graduated magna cum laude from Bethune-Cookman College with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Bethune (now University) is an Historically Black College and University (HBCU) located in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Following undergraduate study Tony continued post graduate studies at Ohio State University in the areas of sociology and demographics before earning his juris doctor degree from the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State.

Recruited to MetLife as part of its executive management program for MBA’s and JD’s Tony’s career included progressive leadership roles including as vice president of MetLife’s Atlanta Region.

A licensed attorney, Tony has also held six investment registrations. He has served on numerous local and statewide boards, as well as the boards of several foundations and non-profits.

A member of the Sigma Pi Phi and Alpha Phi Alpha fraternities Tony has been married to Darlene (née Henderson) Rogers for 40 years. They have three children: Kristen (née Rogers) Pope, a Hampton University graduate employed at Harvard University and owner of Pope Productions, Candace Rogers, manager with the Darden Food Group; and Jordan Rogers a Morehouse College graduate and manager of production and development with Marvel Studios. Kristen is married to Richard Pope, III an M.I.T. graduate and equity trader, and Kristen and Richard have one child, Lily Leigh.
